My desktop manager for my blackberry, recommended that i update the OS on the phone. I thought yeah why not, get a few more features, may be gain some speed too.

I was very mistaken.

The upgrade first must wipe the phone so it can do a clean install - there are benefits to this - but not when it wipes the phone then aborts! So now I have a blank phone! Researching for hours, other people have had the same problem, but have been able to fix it, I, however can not!

After many hours and hours I managed to fix it. I am actaually writing this post from my blackberry. I had to revert back to the original OS. The new one does not work with this blackberry, yet it keeps insisting for me to upgrade! Blackberry must be working with Microsoft . Yep even now when I connect my BB to my laptop, it still asks every time, do you want to upgrade! NO WAY!!!!

Don't make the same mistake I did, too much hassles for nothing.
